3. 1   Bag filter dust collector
Bag filter is the most widely used filter dust collector at present. Its dust removal efficiency is high, and it also has high dust removal efficiency for submicron dust. It will not cause secondary pollution and is convenient for direct recovery of dry materials. Bag filter has made great contribution to the treatment of air pollution. At present, it is widely used at home and abroad, accounting for 80% of the dust removal equipment. However, the performance of coal-fired filter bag is not fully improved, which is closely related to the high-temperature dust removal technology of coal-fired power plant.
Filter material is the core of bag filter, and its performance has great influence on the operation of bag filter. When selecting filter media, the characteristics of dust containing gases, such as dust and gas properties (temperature, humidity, particle size and dust concentration, etc.) must be considered. The filter material with good performance should have large dust capacity, low moisture absorption, high efficiency, low resistance, long service life, and has the advantages of moisture resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength.

Particle bed dust collector is a filter layer composed of solid particles with very stable physical and chemical properties, such as quartz sand. It can filter gas through the gap between particles and zigzag channels. The granular bed dust collector has the advantages of high temperature resistance and good durability, and can realize continuous filtration and dust removal by self cleaning. The dust removal efficiency is generally above 90%, and the highest is 99%.

Sintering metal dust removal is to use sintered metal porous materials to purify dust containing gas. Sintered porous metal filter can be used for fine dust removal of dust particles less than 5 μ M. At room temperature, porous metal materials have the advantages of good overall strength (several times of ceramic strength), no fracture and long-term stability. However, the strength and corrosion resistance of ceramic materials are lower than that of ceramic materials at high temperature.

Since the 1970s, the advanced countries in the world have been continuously studying porous ceramic filters of various materials and structures for high-temperature filtration and dust removal, and have achieved good results. The main physical properties of porous ceramics are porosity, permeability and bending strength. The results show that, compared with other types of dust collectors, the porous ceramic filter has a high dust removal efficiency of more than 99%, and can remove more than 5 μ m dust particles. Moreover, it has a simple structure. The most important thing is that it is resistant to high temperature. The working temperature can reach above 800 ℃, and it has good corrosion resistance in high temperature environment such as oxidation and reduction. Therefore, porous ceramic filter can play an important role in high temperature dust removal.
