(1) The ideal uniform flow in an electrostatic precipitator is considered in accordance with laminar flow conditions. It is required that the flow section be slowly changed and the flow velocity is very low to achieve laminar flow. The main control method is to rely on the proper configuration of the guide plate and the distribution plate in the electrostatic bag filter to make the air flow more uniformly distributed.
(2) While considering the reasonable airflow distribution, for the outer space of the electric field that cannot generate dust removal, such as the space on the plate, the space between the plate and the shell, a baffle plate shall be provided to reduce the dust that is not taken away by the gas without the electric field.
(3) In order to ensure the cleanliness of the distribution plate, a regular rapping mechanism shall be designed.
(4) The more the number of layers of the distribution plate is set, the better the uniform distribution effect. Although the increase in the number of layers will increase the fluid resistance of the equipment, the overall resistance will be reduced due to the improvement of the turbulence of the airflow, so it is generally not used in the design. Consider the increase or decrease of resistance.
(5) The design of the inlet and outlet pipes of the electrostatic precipitator should be considered from the entire engineering system. Try to ensure that the airflow into the electrostatic precipitator is evenly distributed. Especially when multiple electrostatic precipitators are used in parallel, the inlet and outlet pipes should be located at the center of the dust removal system as much as possible.
(6) In order to make the airflow distribution of the electrostatic precipitator reach a desired level, sometimes the airflow distribution plate needs to be further measured and adjusted on site before the dust collector is put into operation.
